- Hi there,
- I have a problem with setting up a print routing between
- two servers.
- This is what I want:
-
- User at workstation 1 works with WordPerfect 5.1.
- He sends a printjob to Queue "Printer B"
- The printjob is send to the server A he is logged into.
- This server A places the job in the spool-directory.
- Another server B sees the job and gets it. Server B knows
- that printer B is attached to a workstation 2 that is logged
- in at server B.
- Server B sends the job to workstation 2, at which RPRINTER
- is loaded. Workstation 2 processes the job ands sends it
- to the Printer B.
- In ''''graphic''''':
-
- User -> printjob -> WP.EXE -> Workstation 1 logged in to--> Server 1
- Server 1 <-- Server 2 gets printjob --> sends it to Workstation 2
- Workstation 2 is logged in at server 2 and accepts via Rprinter
-
- Pffff, it isn't getting any clearer right :-)
- Any hints?
-
- I followed the instructions in the Novell 3.11 handbooks,
- but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't....
-
- Thanks in advance
