- I have an Adaptec SCSI host controller that has been installed in a Unisys
- 486/25. I need to convert this machine to being a Netware 3.11 server,
- but ISADISK does not recognize this controller. I've tried all of the
- available ISA settings, but nothing works. I don't have any docs for
- Netware on the controller, and I'm not sure I have the model number, since
- it appears to be a Unisys OEM product. The only setting information for
- jumpers is a picture of the default settings, and instruction not to
- change them (lotsa help there). There aren't any drivers for Netware
- included with the system disks, and no other instructions. If worse
- comes to worse, I can canabalize a DCB out of the other server in the
- office, but that means that the production server is then down. I kind of
- hate to do that, even though I have a couple of extra drives and wouldn't
- have to worry about trashing the production drive.
-
- Mostly I need help installing the driver controller under Netware, so any
- help would be appreciated. Thanks.
