- We have been using a Mountain tape backup system for several years with no
- real problems on our 2.15C Arcnet system. Recently, however, we are noticing
- that the verifies are failing -- they are not saying that the tape copy does
- not match the disk copy, but instead we are getting "File x not found on
- disk", where x is often EVERY file in the backup. However, sometimes this
- error only occurs for certain small sub-directories. And somethimes it does
- not happen at all.
-
- I have not noticed a problem finding or reading files from the fileserver with
- any other programs, so I'm a bit stumpped. Anyone ever notice similar
- behaviour?
-
- Thanks,
- -Todd
