- Hi,
-
- I am not quite sure I understand the problem here. It looks like you have
- successfully used some of the ATPS option flags. The -h command is used
- to change the printer's NBP type from LaserWriter to LaserShared. Subsequently,
- all printers that were hidden should not appear in the chooser. That is what
- should happen, and it sounds like that is exactly what IS happening.
-
- You were also using the -wf command which hides the queue from the Macintosh
- as well. It sounds like that is working too. Maybe you should remove ALL
- of the commands in the ATPS.CFG, UNLOAD/LOAD ATPS.NLM and re-start the printers.
- You should then be back to your original state. Then add you commands back to
- ATPS.CFG (one line --even one option at a time), and re-LOAD ATPS.NLM. This
- will give you a good idea of the effect of each of the command flags you intend
- to use.
-
- If you use BOTH the -wf AND -h command flags, you will hide the queue AND
- the printer from your Macintosh clients. Your DOS clients would still be able
- to use this printer since they are not affected by these commands. It appears
- to me that this is what you have done. Do you really want to do it?
-
- Let me know if you have further trouble finding your printers...
-
