- : Netware (IPX/SPX and TCP/IP). Is that true ?
-
- In this case of normal Netware communication between client and server, no
- there is no choice in the protocol used. It is IPX. Netware 3.11 has
- the ability to handle communication of IPX,IP,Appletalk and OSI.
-
- :
- : If yes, would I encounter any problems when using the TCP/IP protocol ?

-
- :
- : If TCP/IP is supported I would of course prefer using that as the only

-
- You can only use TCP/IP that comes with Netware 3.11 to either route
- the protocol from differnet segments or 'tunnel' IPX packets inside
- of UDP packets to still have IPX communication where there
- is no IPX transport.
-
- You can build your own applications that hook into the TCPIP protocol stack
- by purchasing the NLM dev kit and C dev kit from Novell.

- : Does anybody want to comment on that ?
- :
- : Thanks for any info, Ernst.
