  11. I have, until recently, been using the printers we have connected to a Unix
  12. machine to do printing from our V3.11 network (using the Novell lpr print
  13. gateway - NFS version 1.2).  Now I have a HP printer local to the network,
  14. and I would like to connect it to my server.

  16. When I set this up (as printer 0) and start pserver, I get a message that the
  17. port is already in use.
  18.  
  19. The pserver is started before the network printer stuff (before all network
  20. stuff except binding the Enet cards, in fact), and the network printers are
  21. configured as numbers 1 and 2.  
  22.  
  23. I can attach this printer to a workstation, and use rprinter, if it is
  24. configured as printer number 3.
  25.  
  26. Am I doing something obviously wrong, or does this just not work, or what?
