- I would be interested in hearing if anyone out there is successfully using
- the STAT.NLM & DUMPSTAT programs to provide some measurements as to what
- their servers are doing. I'm having a little trouble with STAT myself.
-
- After STAT runs for a little while, it reports that my server utilization
- jumps to around 50% and stays that way until I restart STAT. I've written a
- little program to dump the raw information from the stat data file instead of
- using DUMPSTAT so I can see what the number of polling loops and the max
- number of polling loops look like. When the utilization jumps to 50% the max
- number jumps to high number. The number of polling loops returns to what
- seems to be the "normal" number but the max doesn't seem correct. Also, I've
- watched the monitor screen for awhile and don't see it reflecting the
- constant 50% utilization that STAT reports.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas? Sorry if this is in the FAQ. Please write me
- privately to save space on this list. Thanks.
