- This is a naive question perhaps. I want someone's opinion concerning
- the utility or advantage of installing the SLIP package available
- at the archives. I know of course how useful it is to be on
- the net, but what I need is a speed comparison and conveniency
- comparison between SLIP with a V.32 modem and my present setup,
- where I use UUCP for mail and dial out with MicroPhone to access
- my account on the university's network, ftp to sites, obtain files,

- then z or x modem them here. Is it worth the money / trouble?
