- In 3.0 (perhaps in 2.1 and 2.2, but I don't recall seeing it), what
- determines whether you see the two houses (for someone else's homedir)
- or a folder (regular subdirectory) is the setting of "Large File
- System" in your Preferences (accessible via Preferences.app). Why not
- see the two houses regardless of this setting? I am probably not
- understanding some GUI idea but I don't know what.

- While trying to answer this question myself, I went into the 3.0 help
- for Preferences and typed "large file system" and then hit return.
- What a big mistake. It's been 5 minutes since I hit return and the
- cursor is still spinning. Perhaps the indexer will work in 3.1?
