- We are considering upgrading our scanner software for our HSD scanner. In
- our opinion, Scan-X, which was bundled with our color scanner, sucks eggs,
- especially when dealing with faxes. We contacted HSD about there new
- software but they didn't have much to say about it, except to give us a
- quote to upgrade.
-
- Has anyone used this software before?? How does it handle scanning for
- faxes? Scan-X always makes the damn page too large and we have to cut and
- past into WriteNow before we can fax what we scanned in. On another note,
- our automatic sheet feeder doesn't work worth didly either with Scan-X.
- Hopefully PowerScan fixes this problem. Is it worth upgrading to
- PowerScan or is there better scanner software out there??
