- I have been trying to use my address book to set up a fax group, however, there
- must be an easier way than creating all individual entries in my address boook,
- then creating a group, then adding all the defined entries into the group.
- This reminds me of the Mac system 7 Users&Groups control panel.
-
- What I desire would be the following:
- 1) Having some names only in a group, and not at any other level of my
- adress book.
- 2) A field to schedule some faxes - possibly based on country codes (say
- to send to the far east at low utilization/cost times).
-
- 3) Being able to define/manage mail groups from within the address book.
- Handle addressing to multiple persons within a department via e-mail.
-
- This can be handled in 3 ways:
- Multiplexing a single phone line into n "virtual" phone numbers.
- Group 4 named recepient faxes.
- OCR of incoming TIFFs/FAXes, comparison to department list for phone or name,
- and then mailing to expected recepient.
-
- I know I can do 1 and 2, but how...ie, best and most efficient method. I
- look forward to responses about 3.
