- About the OD: I've got one of those older cubes. If your media starts to
- spin-down every so often, you have a couple of options. 1) get a new drive.
- 2) get a refurbished drive 3) clean your drive. I'm cheap. Thus I do the
- latter. The quickie way is to get some compressed air and use the "straw" that
- comes with the can of air. Direct the air towards the lens of the OD, which
- is located on the bottom half of the drive. (Look at your media & how it goes
- into the drive. you can see where the lens is located.)

- Don't forget to clean the media.

- Usually, it seems that the drive itself is more often the problem.

- You should by now have reversed the direction of the fan on the cube. You want
- the air flow such that air enters via the back. You also should have a OD
- filter for your drive. (It's kinda like the air filter for your gas furnace.)

- Braver souls open up their cube periodically and blow the dust out.
