- I was wondering if people could help me out. I am trying to populate
- some nexts's with ram but i'm not 100% sure what I need. Below are
- the machines and in the parens are my comments. If people could tell
- me if I am right or wrong, that would be great. Email is preferred.
- NextStation
- (I am pretty sure that this machine has 8 slots and can accept either
- 1 or 4 meg simms. As to the parity, i have heard that if you use
- all parity ram that you can tell the next to use it, but you can't mix
- parity and non parity ram in the same machine)
-
- NextStation Turbo
- (4 slots on this one that it takes a 32bit simms. These simms come
- in 4 8 or 16 meg modules. Any of these modules should work to
- populate the board.)
-
- NextStation Turbo Color
- (Same as above, but I have heard that you can't but the 16meg modules
- in to the machine since they won't all fit. I can't prove/disprove
- this but it came from someone at nextconnection)
-
- Thanks for all the information in advance. Also, if this happens to
- be a faq, could someone tell me where it is.
