  11. Hi there!  I just installed one of these babies as my internal drive
  12. (SCSI ID 1) and would like to format it to 1024 bytes/block.  I
  13. attempted to Rory Bolt's formatter but apparently it doesn't work too
  14. well if you use it to format your boot disk (I don't have an external
  15. case).

  17. What I'd like to do is use the 'format', 'sense' and 'select'
  18. tools that come as part of the "scsitools" package found on the archives
  19. to format my drive (I can boot from CD-ROM, you see, and can run these
  20. from floppy).  So now I need some kind soul to e-mail me the output
  21. of the 'sense' command, as in

  23.     sense -t 1 -l 0 -p 63 >fujitsu-1024.sense
  24.  
  25. Said kind soul should, of course, already have an appropriately formatted
  26. 2624FA in his/her machine.

  28. BTW, I sucked the "scsitools" package off of sonata.cc.purdue.edu.
