  12. I have placed a new release of Common Music on ccrma-ftp.stanford.edu
  13.  
  14. (36.49.0.93) and guido.zkm.de (192.101.28.17) in the file
  15. pub/cm.tar.Z.  Common Music is a public domain music composition
  16. language implemented in Common Lisp and CLOS that outputs music
  17. (directly or through scorefiles) to a variety of synthesis packages,
  18. such as the Music Kit, Common Lisp Music, MIDI, CSound, etc.

  20. The main new pieces of functionality are a composition editor called
  21. Stella that supports both algorithmic and editorial styles of
  22. composition, and a full port of Common Music to the Macintosh under
  23. Macintosh Common Lisp 2.0.
