  11. I am looking for a way to interface the mail facility of IBM's
  12. OfficeVision to a NCR Tower (model 650, Unix V3.2) by SNADS.

  14. Formerly, we had DISOSS running and I interfaced that e-mail
  15. through a DISOSS's->RAPID->Tower by SNA/RJE trick and from there
  16. I distributed the mail to the other Unix platforms overhere and
  17. vice versa by a RAPID/Internet mail interface.

  19. Now, DISOSS has been replaced by the OfficeVision disaster and
  20. the former trick doesn't work anymore, since OfficeVision has
  21. no JCL hooks in it to manipulate it's mailfiles.
  22. The only way to make a connection (apart from X400, which I don't
  23. prefer) is by making a connection on SNADS level. This way we
  24. would be able to fully control the routing to and from the host system.
  25. In topology, SNADS would communicate with OfficePath on the host.
  26.  
  27. SNADS should be a package (in fact it's nothing more than a protocol)
  28. that runs on top of LU6.2.  I know LU 6.2 is supported on the Tower
  29. platform, but I'm not sure about any SNADS support. It would be nice,
  30. since lots of host software communicates through SNADS.
