  20. You might want to look at the command xmodmap, and change the mapping of
  21. the meta key to something less troublesome.  (And if you need the Meta
  22. key, remap it elsewhere.)

  24. Also xev can be used to determine quickly and precisely the keycode
  25. etc for the meta key by striking the offending key in the xev window.

  27. I have found some keys on some machines appear to refuse to be remapped.
