Regarding connecting two macs together to form a tiny LAN with an imagewriter cable. I've successfully done this between a PowerBook 140 and a IIcx. However, I tried to do the same between a mac plus and the same IIcx with no luck. The IIcx locates the plus's shared volumes in the chooser but not vice-versa. I checked (and had someone else check) the settings and connection to no avail. I called my local mac store which promptly sold me two localtalk boxes. These did not help (they worked with the powerboo
k) .
If anyone knows any special trick to get a tiny LAN working with a plus I'd appreciate it. (I tried removing all non apple extensions and control panels)
