- It's the Easy Access Control Panel. Unlike system 6, the system 7 version
- plays a sound when it is activated/deactivated. The cup is the "buffer"
- where modifier keys are held. (For one-handed operation, it allows you to
- "hold down" a modifier key (cmd, ctrl, opt, shift) while you press another.)
- It is activated and deactivated when you press the shift key 5 times
- without moving the mouse.
