  12. After a night of thuder storm and all, my Mac SE finally decided to die on me
  13. before i have several program due and couple articles to write.

  15. When I turned it on this morning, the hard drive spins and all, but there's
  16. only a white verticle line (about 2-3 pixels wide) in the center of the screen
  17. the rest of the screen was all dark.  After playing with it for a while, i
  18. believed that the motherboard and harddrive were all ok, since when i do a
  19. cmmd-O, there's some change in the verticle line (i.e. a window has opened) and
  20. when i move the cursor to the sleep-now corner, the screen saver comes on (the
  21. line becomes dark).   I opened up the case and tried to adjust the width screw
  22. on the analog board, but the width of theline didn't change at all.

  24. That's all I can think of right now.  Would anyone suggest any other do-it-my-
  25. self adjustment or repair?  Or should i go get a new analog board?  (any one
  26. has one for sale?)
