- It depends on your objectives. I have an SE and a PC clone running Windows.
- I wanted to be able to exchange files. But as I have a laser printer that
- supports Postscript plus Appletalk and Parallel/Serial connections, I
- was also interested in eliminating the need to manually switch the
- printer to print from either system. So I bought the PhoneNet CardPC
- from Farallon, which comes with software and Localtalk connector, and
- I upgraded my SE to System 7 to get the File Sharing. It looks like it
- is going to do all I wanted. It cost me $220 plus $90 for System 7.
