  15. I have a MacSE hooked up to a LaserWriter IISC (QuickDraw
  16. printer hooked up to the SCSI port) running System 7.0
  17. with ATM, Suitcase, and both TrueType and Postscript fonts.
  18. I've set both the disk cache and the ATM cache to 256K.

  20. Printing is excruciatingly slow. Are there any tricks to make
  21. it go faster? I opened up with Suitcase a suitcase with the bitmapped
  22. Times fonts with sizes up to 96pt, hoping that this would
  23. bypass the TrueType font. This didn't seem to make much
  24. difference.

  26. Another thing, I'm using the Personal Laserwriter SC driver;
  27. would it be better to use the older Laserwriter IISC driver?
