- I have a MacSE hooked up to a LaserWriter IISC (QuickDraw
- printer hooked up to the SCSI port) running System 7.0
- with ATM, Suitcase, and both TrueType and Postscript fonts.
- I've set both the disk cache and the ATM cache to 256K.
-
- Printing is excruciatingly slow. Are there any tricks to make
- it go faster? I opened up with Suitcase a suitcase with the bitmapped
- Times fonts with sizes up to 96pt, hoping that this would
- bypass the TrueType font. This didn't seem to make much
- difference.
-
- Another thing, I'm using the Personal Laserwriter SC driver;
- would it be better to use the older Laserwriter IISC driver?
