  11. We have two Stylewriters in a student lab and they are having
  12. problems. They are connected to the printer ports on a couple of macII
  13. ci's running 6.0.7, True Type init, and Stylewriter driver 7.2.2,
  14. which are connected to a Novell network where all the apps are kept.
  15. The system folder is kept on a RAMdisk+ RAM disk after startup. The
  16. students don't have write rights to the network.

  18. The problem is that the StyleWriters often stop partway down the page
  19. and then start printing a different page. Or print everything down
  20. one side in a column, and sometimes some of the fonts don't work.

  22. The Stylewriters are getting used for about 50-200 pages per day,
  23. depending on how many classes have papers due. (I know this is too
  24. much but they never asked me to recommend a printer just a machine,
  25. oh well, at least we got the ci's.)

  27. Are there any ideas as to how to get the StyleWriters to print more
  28. reliably?
