- Hello out there,
-
- Does anyone know why formatting a disk on a mac only
- takes about half a minute ?
-
- I am working on a Swiss machine and would like to improve
- the formatting speed of our 3"1/5 floppy disks. Shall I
- format one side, then the other, or what is the trick used
- in the Mac-OS ? Whatever we do, it takes us about a minute
- to format (and half a minute to read a complete disk).
-
- Please don't tell me it is slow just because it is Swiss :-).
