  15. Does anyone know why formatting a disk on a mac only
  16. takes about half a minute ?

  18. I am working on a Swiss machine and would like to improve
  19. the formatting speed of our 3"1/5 floppy disks. Shall I
  20. format one side, then the other, or what is the trick used
  21. in the Mac-OS ? Whatever we do, it takes us about a minute
  22. to format (and half a minute to read a complete disk).
