  12. In an attempt not to waste any additional bandwidth I'll clarify my original post on
  13. this subject.  It seemed that I no longer had the color palette available when modifying
  14. my desktop pattern in the General Controls.  It had turned out that a Shareware program, 
  15. Desktop Textures, was the culprit as it modified my system file.
