Apple maintains a testing lab in Cupertino that developers can reserve time in.
Also, at the last developer conference, there was an A/UX 3.0 test room - if
you tested your app with A/UX, you took home a trendy black A/UX t-shirt.
As far as I was able to determine in an hour, all the apps I have worked onin the last year work fine. As long as you play by the rules, it does not seem
to be a problem.
