- Hiding the system folder with something like ResEdit for System
- 7.0 causes the Apple Menu Items to be hidden as well so you lose
- what is under the Apple Menu.

- What I do in our MacLab's:

- 1) nest the System Folder in another folder the other folders
- name is simply a space so you won't see anthing for a name
- 2) Since in System 7 you can change Icon's I change the Icon of
- the nester folder to a simple blank or a transparent Icon..

- We've had this setup for over 5 months now so it's well tested.
