- As part of my final year project I need to collect data about the state
- of a machintosh whilst being used, The features I need to collect
- information about are:-
-
- Changes in applications present on the machine
- Changes in the active application
- Changes in the files present in any application
- Any file accesses
- Changes in the system features/accessories being used
-
- the information will be used part of a pattern recognition procedure
- and is a big chunk of my project.
- Any suggestions of ways of collecting this data when changes in them
- occur would be very gratefully recieved, I am already looking at writing
- alternative interupt handlers to monitor I/O activity but this is
- something I would rather not do.
-
- As I don't normally have access to this mewsgroup could you send and
- suggestions to my email address.
-
- Yours desperately,
-
- Ben..
