  25. The extra cable sounds like the thin (4 or 5 leads?) wire that goes to
  26. the SCSI id select switch on an external case.  If so, the cable should
  27. come out of the connector on the drive, and a resistor or jumper will have
  28. to replace it to give it SCSI id 0.  In addition, if it came from an external
  29. drive, you'll need to make sure that the three flat multi-pin black resistors 
  30. are in place just behind the larger of the two connectors, as these are the
  31. termination resistors required for an internal drive.  I don't have the
  32. specifics of which pins, etc to set the SCSI id but I can get them if you
  33. don't get any better help  (Email me).
