  13. I'm interested in downloading some of John Pugh's binary files
  14. from apple.com.  I am working on a MacII (without MacTCP)
  15. connecting to a VAX account - which does the file transfers.  I
  16. tried setting the VAX transfer to binary then downloading to the
  17. Mac with Macbinary (using NCSA Telnet 2.5).  However, I still have
  18. problems opening the files.  Am I doing something wrong?

  20. Is there information lost/changed in the transfer between apple.com
  21. and our VAX using "binary"?  If so how can I get around this?
