- I'm interested in downloading some of John Pugh's binary files
- from apple.com. I am working on a MacII (without MacTCP)
- connecting to a VAX account - which does the file transfers. I
- tried setting the VAX transfer to binary then downloading to the
- Mac with Macbinary (using NCSA Telnet 2.5). However, I still have
- problems opening the files. Am I doing something wrong?
-
- Is there information lost/changed in the transfer between apple.com
- and our VAX using "binary"? If so how can I get around this?
-
- Thanks,
-
