- Hello, all.
-
- We have a Quadra 700 with the internal 240 Mb Drive running A/UX 3.
-
- I believe the machine came with A/UX already installed, but what we wanted
- to do was resize the Mac disk partition from 4Mb to about 10. The only
- way I know how to do this with Apple software is through the HD SC setup
- program.
-
- Once the setup program is running and the custom disk partitioning window
- is up, the partition diagram had 6 partitions. The last two were the
- Mac partition (4Mb) followed by another A/UX partition (~85Mb - slice 3).
- I first deleted the A/UX partition, then the mac partition. Once I
- recreated the mac partition (for 10Mb), the Setup program quit recognizing
- the disk as a 240Mb drive - now it thinks the drive is only 162Mb.
-
- Has anybody had a problem like this, where the Setup program, after modify-
- ing the partitions, fails to recognize the full capacity of the disk?
- How can I get around this?
-
- If you have any ideas, could you please email me instead of posting?
