  12. Hello, all.  I have a problem with my PowerBook 100, the Battery Menu
  13. extension, and the AC adapter.
  14.  
  15. When I turn on the PB with the AC adapter plugged into an outlet and
  16. the power cord plugged into the PB, I get a system (bus) error telling
  17. me to restart the PB without extensions.
  18.  
  19. When I turn on the PB with the AC adapter NOT plugged into an outlet
  20. and the power cord plugged into the PB, the PB boots up fine.  I can
  21. then plug the AC adapter into the outlet and everything is still fine.

  23. This problem started last night.  I've tried checking for viruses,
  24. scanning the disk, rebuilding the desktop, and reinstalling the system.

  26. It's not that big a deal because 75 percent of the time I run on AC
  27. power and don't really need the Battery Menu extension.  However, it
  28. bothers me because it used to function properly.  Last night I did
  29. accidently give my PB a nice jolt of static electricity on the
  30. keyboard, but is it really that sensitive?
