- Hello, all. I have a problem with my PowerBook 100, the Battery Menu
- extension, and the AC adapter.
-
- When I turn on the PB with the AC adapter plugged into an outlet and
- the power cord plugged into the PB, I get a system (bus) error telling
- me to restart the PB without extensions.
-
- When I turn on the PB with the AC adapter NOT plugged into an outlet
- and the power cord plugged into the PB, the PB boots up fine. I can
- then plug the AC adapter into the outlet and everything is still fine.
-
- This problem started last night. I've tried checking for viruses,
- scanning the disk, rebuilding the desktop, and reinstalling the system.
-
- It's not that big a deal because 75 percent of the time I run on AC
- power and don't really need the Battery Menu extension. However, it
- bothers me because it used to function properly. Last night I did
- accidently give my PB a nice jolt of static electricity on the
- keyboard, but is it really that sensitive?
-
- Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
