- Not sure if you meant that as a rhetorical question (|) or not, so I'll
- venture to guess that a newer version of HyperCard will come out during the
- first quarter of 1993. Why then? Heck, it's just a guess. I heard a rumor
- that Claris is having some problems with speed (possibly related to color
- handling in 'newer version') and has requested that some of Apple's
- programmers work on this (speed/color) problem(s).
-
- Remember, I told you this was just a guess (based on rumor), so don't flame
- me if I'm 'off-base', 'way-off', 'a tad-bit confused' or wrong:-)

- Again, I'm not sure if this is a rhetorical question (|) or not. This time
- I'll pass, because I really am not sure. (But I will venture to guess that
- you mean it as a question, right? :-)

- Most likely. If the product was to be called 'HyperCard', it should retain
- compatibility with previous versions of the same named product. If not, it
- would be appropriate to change the name of the product. As I stated above,
- there will probably be a color version of HyperCard next year, but when it
- will be released will depend on when Claris (Apple) get the problems
- corrected.
