- Try holding down the command and option keys while compacting the stack.
- This will rebuild the internal font mapping tables and will fix it if
- it is corrupted (which it sounds like). Make sure you are running
- HyperCard 2.1--I don't remember which version I put that feature in.

- A corrupted font table should only have occured with beta versions of
- HyperCard 2.0. Was your stack started with an old beta?
