  12. I would like to thank everyone for their help in solving this problem. Your
  13. assistance has been invaluable....

  17. 1) The read command only lets you import 16k at a time (according to
  18. the Complete HyperTalk Handbook).

  20. 2) There is no mechanism to search backward in a file. (ie. you can read
  21. until a certain character/word/whatever, but there is no way to tell HC to
  22. "read until Mercutio then go back 100 lines and import the next 200"
  23.  
  24. These are the problems confronting me now... Any suggestions? Will HC 2.5
  25. remedy these? When will it be out, anyway?
