- I am a novice Hypercard programmer, which will probably become obvious.
-
- I want to create a stack that helps me organize my research ideas. I
- have seperate cards that contain information about each concept, idea,
- or reference. I would also like to have buttons that link areas of
- text in my card to other cards. Obvious.
-
- The problem is, I hate to go through the monotony of creating new
- buttons. I'd like have those buttons automatically created,
- when I create a new card. After they are created, I will link them to
- the relevant card and change the appearance of the button (transparent
- to rectangle probably).
-
- Is there any way to create new buttons automatically in the card
- domain? What message do you send to create a new button (if there is
- one)?
-
- I've tried to use the background, but setting the link in a
- background button sets the link for the corresponding button in
- every card using that background. Is there a way that background
- buttons can be automatically moved into the card domain?
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
