  18. It wasn't a matter of ease of implementation.  HyperCard 2.1 doesn't
  19. understand object specifiers because they hadn't yet been finally defined
  20. when HyperCard 2.1 shipped, concurrently with System 7.0 in May of last
  21. year.  It would be wonderful to have a version of HyperCard that fully
  22. supports the Apple Event Object Model; I wish it had been possible back
  23. then.
