  12. Hi fellow netters,
  13.     I have a small question about my Apple 21" display.  I have it hooked
  14. up to a Quadra 700.  I was told that I could only get 256 colors from the 
  15. inbuilt video.  The Quadra comes with 1/2 meg VRAM, and has 6 more slots to 
  16. give me a total of 2 meg of VRAM. I have upgraded VRAM to 1 meg.  So now I have 256 colors.

  18.     My question is...why does one need to increase VRAM to 2 meg, if 
  19. one does not get any more colors.  Does resolution depend on VRAM?
