  47. Clarification from a DUO-in-law (ie my wife has a 210, but my 230 is on
  48. "6-8 week" back-order):

  51. It is true that, as with the previous powerbooks, the external battery 
  52. charger does not come with its own ac adapter.

  55. However, with the 100/140/145/160/170/180 this was a real limitation, as
  56. you could not simultaneously use the one AC adapter both with the
  57. powerbook and the external charger.  In contrast, with the DUO's
  58. the charger attaches to the AC adapter in such a way that you can 
  59. still have the DUO attached and working.

  61. I gather that the setup is designed so that the DUO and its battery get
  62. priority access to energy, the charger is secondary.
