- At 8-bits for this sort of thing the IIci built-in video will be similar to
- a non-accelerated NuBus card (yes, many other things may be slower, but not
- scrolling). You're better off getting a cache card to improve this one, or
- looking into accelerated NuBus cards. Going to a Quadra you'll see a big
- difference! The built-in video on that machine beats accelerated NuBus
- cards.

- Also, for scrolling performance you can help a lot by dropping to 1-bit
- mode. There are INITs around that let you do this quickly, so you could
- drop to 1-bit while navigating around your Word document, and be in 8-bit
- lickity-split for Solarian :-)
