- System 7 has not changed how this was done (except for the fact that you now
- have to wait an extra second). However, I just tried this on a Mac IIcx and
- it did not work. I then noticed it was not tuned, so I installed the Tune-Up
- package and afterwords it worked. Maybe this is also a contributing factor.
- Or, maybe it was just the fact I had to restart it after I installed the
- tune-up. All's I know it that you should be able to easily rename you Mac
- hard drives the same way you name a directory, file, or disk.
