- Apple has been selling there 13" monitor for years, and calling it
- 13" because that's the viewable portion of the screen, but everyone
- else has been selling the same size tube, and calling it 14" 'cause
- thats the size of the whole picture tube.
- When apple introduced their new monitor, same size as the old one
- but lighter, brigher, and generally a better design, they decided to
- fall in line with the rest of the PR conscious world and start calling
- it 14". In short, you got the " 14" " monitor, it just happens to
- be the same size as the 13"... :)
