- I think he's aware that this used to be the way it worked, but is asking how to
- do it now that System 7 has changed things. I don't know how many other people
- experience this problem, but I can't change my HD names without a utility
- either... and no I don't have sharing on, nor any applications running, etc.
- Basically, I use DiskTools to rename the hard drive. Also, I know if you mount
- with System 6 you can change the name. I'm curious as to why it's become a
- problem to rename hard drives. Maybe this is a _feature_ of System 7 so as to
- make it harder for non-welcome users from changing configurations.. who knows.
