- Ok, I have a weird one for you. So I just ordered and received a new Macintosh
- IIvx system from the local educational institution of which I am enrolled.
- Fine. I get the CPU, the hard drive, and a monitor. The monitor is supposed
- to be one of Apple's new 14" Color Hi-Res Display. Now here's where I'm
- confused: Upon actually measuring the inches diagonal of the monitor I find
- the measure to be 13", _not_ 14". What does this mean? Is more than the
- actual screen measured when specifying the screen size for monitors or some-
- thing? Further investigation in the product's specs say:
-
- Picture Tube - 13-inch viewable diagonal
-
- What gives? Did I get a 13" when I should've got a 14"?
