Just curious - but what do people do on a powerbook that requires an FP coprocessor? Model fluid flow around space-shuttle heat tiles??
I assumed that most people use powerbools to write, to draw, and to connect to remote hosts. None of these are going to be improved by the use of a coprocessor. Excel is an in-between, but my guess is that most people use simple, non-recursive spreadsheets that perform no more than 1000 calculations at a time. A coprocessor would only save 10ms or so...
Are there people doing important number crunching on Powerbooks or are people just anal about having a coprocessor to balance their checkbooks? I am interested in hearing what people use their PB coprocessors for.
