- As the title says, I'd like to know if it is possible/hard/easy to put
- memory I buy separately in the PB 160. Do I need special tools? I've
- put SIMMs in SE's, SE/30's, Classic I/II's, so if you could compare it
- to that, that would be perfect.

- Unfortunately, putting in this memory requires a torx driver which
- NO ONE SELLS. Not radio shack, not computer supply stores, not any
- hardware store I could find. There is one screw which has a small
- torx head that you need a special tool to get out. When we asked the
- guy at the MIT computer center if we could borrow his, he quickly said
- No. This is obviously intentional. My advice: Break into a computer
- repair shop and STEAL one of those little fuckers. then, spec it and
- machine your own, offer it for sale for $10 apiece over this network
- and screw those damn mech e's who changed that screw size to make
- changing your memory a pain in the butt... Or, drill out that screw
- and simply ignore it. It doesn't hold anything special on; it is one
- of about five screws that hold the back together. Your PB will be fine
- without it.
