- Apple's line about this (whether it is true or not remains to be seen) is
- that the emulation of the Mac on a PowerPC will not be detrimental because
- the toolbox will be coded in native RISC code. Since so much of the mac is
- the toolbox, and since so much of the code is spent accessing it, it will
- balence out the slower emulation.

- SoftPC on the other hand has to emulate the 8088 and all of the PC hardware,
- since most MS-DOS programs access it directly. (MS Windows could probably be
- speed up if someone could write a video driver that could call the Quickdraw
- directly.)
