  15. Hello,
  16.     I have owned a mac SE/30 for the past two years now, and
  17. the older it gets, the slower it seems when compared to the
  18. newer Macs.
  19.     I know in the PC world, if your motherboard is a high-
  20. quality piece of engineering, you can pop in a new crystal
  21. and increase the clock rate of the computer.
  22.     Does any one know of a way to do this for the SE/30. I
  23. have 80ns SIMMS (5MB), so I don't think that will be a problem,
  24. but maybe they will.  I would like to speed it up to 25MHz,
  25. from its current speed of 16MHz.
  26.     Can anyone offer help/advice for me.  Should I even
  27. attempt to do it if a kit is available?  Will it end up doing
  28. more harm than good in the long term?
