- There sure seems to be a lot of IIvx bashing going on both here and in the
- mac rags.
-
- The latest has got me scared concerning the "problems" with MIDI though
- nothing was really substantianted by the poster.
-
- If anyone has some concrete proof of real vx problem (Beyond the fact that it
- is not really faster than a ci for various design reasons.) I would like to
- see details.
-
- I have a IIvx/CR ROM version on order through the developer program and I am
- getting concerned about all this talk to the point were maybe I should switch
- my order to a IIci and buy and external CD ROM when they become available.
-
- Of course this approach will be more expensive, but I don't want to be saddled
- with a problem machine.
-
- Any final word on the mono versus stereo sound capabilty? The last guy to
- post was from Apple and he said the ci and vx both have stereo out
- capability.

- P.S. - There was a note from a IIvi user that is ringing out the MID port (no
- hardware problems so far he states). What is a IIvi? I do not see it in the
- Apple Developer Price list.
