  17. The final and ONLY word about the stereo sound capability of the IIvx is as

  21. 2.  The IIvx plays mono macintosh sounds (beeps, soundtracker, etc.)
  22. 3.  The IIvx/CD ROM plays stereo CD sound since the sound comes from the CD
  23. 4.  The IIvx/CD ROM will mix mono macintosh sound with the stereo CD sound.

  26. Apple has NOT covered up the fact that the IIvx has mono macintosh sounds,
  27. just worded it strangely.  The Spec sheet clearly states this fact.  It
  28. has also been stated in MacUser's table of Macintoshes.

  30. The whole fuss about the sound was that many other older macs could play stereo
  31. macintosh sounds, and the IIvx couldn't -- why?!

  33. I hope this clears up ANY confusion about the IIvx's stereo sound.
